Social Media Ammended

Previously posted, today I add an addendum:

A lesson from a wise man: Social media is not just about marketing or branding. It's a way of connecting, sharing information and personalizing the interaction of doing business. Plus it's a heck of a lot of fun! I have met some amazing and wonderful people thanks to each medium. Wordpress, Blogger, Facebook, Twitter and Linkdin are favorites. Digg is creeping up at an amazing rate! Foursquare is even evolving as are others like it such as Gowalla. Bottom line: Use what works for you!

Addendum:
Be careful, as with the good comes the occassional bad. To quote you Scott, "There will always be haters." Simply report and ignore such oddities.

If you interact and engage in the medium of your choice, you will be rewarded with truly great friends who will always be ready with a head's up, advice, or a pick-me-up when these things happen. Lesson: You get out of Social Media what you put into it.
